NVIDIA Gives Kingston SSD with the purchase of a 1050 or 1060 (Updated)

NVIDIA Gives Kingston SSD with the purchase of a 1050 or 1060 (Updated)

From the looks of it, NVIDIA might be trying to clear some stock as they offer a free SSD if you purchase a GeForce GTX 1050 or 1060 through select resellers. The promotion might have a geo cap though.

Right now it is a bit unclear if this applies to top the UK only (looks like it), but it could very well expand to other regions. It's a bit icky to see what model will get what SSD, so have a look at the landing page. You either get a 120GB or 240 GB SSD with select graphics cards.

Update: the bundle seems more widespread in the EU as the promotion has been verified in the Nordics as well, not just the UK.

Just in from NVIDIA: There are various deals available from participating retailers across Europe, so best thing to do is for people to check their respective NVIDIA websites for local ‘Made to Game’ deals and links.

Check it out here

They should just sell them in bulk to miners for a discount. There are still some who are willing to add to their hashing power for the right price.

It would also help to lower the price below MSRP. Gamers aren't going to pay such prices for two-year old tech.

GTX1060 6G £250, well if your in the market for one of these cards i suppose getting a free 120gig SSD drive is your best bang for buck at this time.

My old 290 was able to match the 1060 performance and that card was £300.
How little we have travelled in these 5 years.

But stubbornly not willing to slash prices like the should.

That is just not Nvidia like.
