NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 tested in benchmark; 60% faster than RTX 3090 Ti
In regular tests, we do not know how much quicker the RTX 4090 can be than the RTX 3090 Ti. As it turns out, the card was previously evaluated with the Geekbench CUDA benchmark, with the GPU scoring an fantastic 42K points
This means the RTX 4090 is 1.6x quicker than the RTX 3090 Ti and 1.8x faster than the RTX 3090, that's excluding DLSS etc. That is a vast improvement for just this type of test. We cannot, of course, put this performance into gameplay. NVIDIA's RTX 4090 GPU will be available on October 12th.

It is normal, people aren't conditioned, they are just being realistic.
The fact that you think 1500 for a GFX card is normal means nVidia conditioned you well the last two years.

But the 3090 was already a ripoff.
Now nvidia is expanding the rip-off to the entire range.
And then there are the prices for Europe...
The 3090 was much less a ripoff than the titan lineup it replaced

Curious that we are just comparing which was the biggest rip-off.
It's really sad.

I was expecting a 90/100% performance increase compared to the 3090.
If the performance difference between gens is bellow 80%, then i`m going to be very disappointed with the 4000 series.

I guess you missed the ''rasterization'' part o_O
After analyzing DLSS for hours in many titles, let's just say I'm no longer interested in it in most titles, nor in other similar ''tech''.
Its good performance boost, but I just hate any kind of ghosting, blurring the image, random artifacts, forced strong sharpening etc, its just not for me. That being said if DLSS 3+ would improve/fix those things I'm sold..
