The new GeForce RTX 3080 graphics card is finally available for purchase. More than a year after launching the original 10GB version of the GA102-200-based SKU, the company is launching the upgraded version of the same product.

Two gigabytes of additional memory have been added to the NVIDIA RTX 3080 12GB compared to the previous model. Because of this relatively small memory upgrade, the card now has a full 384-bit memory bus and a maximum bandwidth of 912 GB/s, which is significantly more than before. Built around the GA102-220 GPU, which has 8960 CUDA cores, the RTX 3080 12GB is a powerful graphics card. The TDP raised to 350W, a 30W increase over the original, due to the relatively slight GPU update and the power-hungry memory used in the system upgrade. Despite the fact that the card was only introduced today, it is already available at partner businesses. pricing is yet to be determined but expect something north of 1500 EUR in etail. We have a card for review but had to wait until NVIDIA released a public 4driver. We'll publish our GeForce 3080 12GB review this week.
