NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti performance in Ethereum mining shows good results

Pretty much everything about the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti has already leaked, but not figures on cryptocurrency mining. As it stands this GPU performs quite well considering the ratio of energy consumption. And that is bad news for availability.

We do wonder how miners already have their hands on these cards and are actively mining already, but that aside; it did not take long for the first units of the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti to fall into mining tests; Chiphell shows the next NVIDIA graphics card presenting good performance in Ethereum mining. The user limited the power consumption to 120W (60% of the 200W TDP) and overclocked the memory by 1200MHz at 16Gbps, which gave him a result of around 61MH per second. This is around 10 MH/s more than the Radeon RX 5700 at 160W.

With these results in mind, it seems to be a much more favorable option than an AMD Radeon RX 6800, which offers 60 MH/s with a higher power consumption (280W).
