NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Reference PCB Photos
Well, that didn't take long. Videocardz leaked the GeForce GTX 1080 PCB photos. The NVIDIA PG413 board is equipped with 5+1 power phases.
The PCB is 6-phase VRM / DrMOS and the green gobler 16 nm GP104 ASIC appears to be doing well. You can see the eight 8 Gbit GDDR5X memory chips. There’s just one 8pin power connector, but NVIDIA made room for additional power connector in case AIBs want to modify reference board. Have a peek at the screenshots, courtesy of Videocardz.

Hmm... never heard of a vapor chamber cooler on the founder's edition... do you have a link per chance?
its so funny how most people still dont know the difference between the cooler on the reference model and the founders edition (vapor chamber), and even apply the higher price of the later, to above product, which is just the reference (non founders) edition running a stock (non vapor) cooler...

When two 980 are running correctly one 1080 or 980 ti won't beat em. 20% faster then 980 in sli is funny. Even at stock two 980's give out 10 tflops even with modest oc those two will just leave the area that 1080 or 980 ti can reach.
last time i looked it said the 1080 is 20% fast then 2 980's in sli so will you people please get facts right then that would mean 2 980'tis in sli are close to a 1080,that or they are just hyping all fans of nvidia so they can chuck out the none dx12 cards.

I read it would have. So it is kind of like 780 series which all had the vapor chamber coolers which all were also worse then the aib coolers.

Oh well, was just curious, because if they'd have done the vapor chamber cooler right, it might actually be quite good, if it would be anything like Sapphire's coolers.
