Nvidia could be working on phablet or tablet

We've heard this rumor before, but again, NVIDIA might actually be prepping to reelase its own phone slash tablet. A device popped up under codename NVIDIA Tegra Note Premium at Tabtech.de's GFXBench. It seems  the tablet is slightly slower than NVIDIA's Shield handheld console meanign that it indeed has a Tegra 4 SoC.

The Android 4.2.2 based unit would be clocked at 1.8GHz and offers a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. It's unknown whether NVIDIA will launch this device under its own brand or functions as OEM in the tablet arena. It remains a rumor, but backed with some benchmarks and the fact its popping up a second time. Who knows ?

You can check out more here and find the GFXBench results here.

Bit offtopic here, but recently it came to my knowledge the word "phablet" and it sound ****ing hilarious to me. Maybe because i don´t speak english natively. It´s like a cross between a chicken and a trex if you use your imagination. Also reminds me of some fat kids i see eating at mcdonals. Phaaaablet. Just to pronounce it almost induces vomit reflexe. Phaaaablet.
