And I imagine AIB partners are going nuts right now.  NVIDIA has now made the shocking announcement that the GeForce RTX 4080 12GB variant, the card formerly known as the RTX 4070, would not be released.

The business made a last-minute decision in September to release two RTX 4080 versions with drastically differing specs. It seems that this plan has failed spectacularly. NVIDIA has recently made the announcement that it would no longer be selling its RTX 4080 12GB graphics processing unit. The 16GB version is the only one getting released.

Well, I guess the AIB partners have to rebadge the packaging towards GeForce RTX 4070 again :) The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 4080 16GB release has been announced for November 16th.
