Nvidia Announces Shield Tablet
Nvidia today officially announces their 8-inches (1920x1200) Shield Tablet, empowered by a Tegra SoC. It will launch in the USA first, followed in the EU a few weeks later. By releasing the 8" Shield Tablet, Nvidia really takes a nice step into Tablet gaming. Armed with a Tegra K1 SoC it will drive the tablet towards good battery life, but most of all brings PC style gaming into your hands.

Ordered one last night. What the hell. I'll give it a shot. I have an original Surface Pro that has a bigger screen but I use it for digital comics reading. The intel gpu in it makes gaming pretty hard to do, so this will fill that itch when I'm at the girlfriends and she's doing hair (hair stylist). Half-Life 2 and Trine 2, in the palm of my hands, I'm a happy guy.

Nintendo need to ditch the Wii U and 3DS and do something like this, just have one console that does it all.
