No info on which version of android it's running? And what is up with only 2gb ram on all K1 based stuff, should really be 3-4gb by now.
Looks like an amazing tablet but think I'll wait for the next nexus to replace my current one even if going by what's online it will basically have the same specs

A Chinese Xiaomi MiPad have more or less the same internals and you can buy it today.
Slightly higher resolution on the MiPad too.
Going with the official Nvidia tablet might be better in the long run in terms of updates and support though.

you'll need a fortune on top of 299$ for the product to be able to enjoy this thing
a PC with 6xx card isn't cheap
I always wanted a tablet to read manga, could not care less for game streaming
That said, i only need a GPU 6xx to stream games, i will eventuall buy a 8xx or 7xx but tbh, as a fighting games fan, i really hate game streaming.
The fact is, its a decent priced and powerfull tablet and without the retarded QHD "battery hog" screen resolutions.

Available for preorder
In stock in mid-late august depending on the model. Surprised as the previous Shield didn't come to Norway until much later.
