NVIDIA announces GeForce RTX 2060 at 349 USD

NVIDIA today announced the new 349 USD GeForce RTX 2060. The 4th model RTX card is based on Turing architecture. The card has 6 GB of the now familiar GDDR6 memory.

NVIDIA has added 30 RT (Raytracing) cores, as well as 240 Tensor (AI), cores onto the new GPUs, and these are active. Active but more limited I should say, the GeForce RTX 2060, really is making use of a reconfigured GeForce RTX 2070 chip. It has been fitted with 6GB of GDDR6 memory (14 Gbps). This 160 Watts rated graphics card has 1920 activated shader processors (that value is 2304 on the RTX 2070). It has a 1680 MHz boost clock for the standard founder version. The card has 6 GB of the now familiar GDDR6 memory running a 192-bit wide bus (336 GB/s), the price is 349 USD.

The cooler is dual-slot design. The card comes fitted with just one rear positioned power headers (8-pin). The card offers one HDMI ports and two DisplayPort outputs, a DVI connector. NVIDIA is going to bundle the card with Anthem or Battlefield V. Available starting the 15th.

Bold claims on how much power that card has over the previous gen versions that were higher, now we just need to see some benchmarks.

I wonder how much it will cost in Europe. I have bought in November last year 1070ti for 465 EUR.
