Nvidia announces GeForce GXT 1070 Ti (Sneak Preview)

Nvidia today announced its GeForce GTX 1070 Ti. In this news items, we’ll show you both the MSI GeForce GXT 1070 Ti Gaming and Titanium Sneak as well as the PALIT GeForce GXT 1070 Ti Super Jetstream.

While everything has been said and done on the GeForce GTX 1070 Ti, we’re not allowed to host any reviews and benchmark results. Today media is allowed to do some unboxing and post the final specifications. In a week from now, the new GeForce GTX 1070 Ti will become available and will have the very same clock frequency on all AIB cards. The GeForce GTX 1070 Ti is packed with 2,432 cores and 8 GB of memory running at 8Gbps for a total bandwidth of 256 GB/s. The does not mean that this 8 GB DDR5 card cannot be overclocked manually of course.

The 1070 Ti seems to be inserted as an answer towards the Radeon Rx VEGA 56 and is expected to sit in-between the 56 and 64 (air) performance wise. Below a number of photos of the first cards that arrived. MSI shipped in the GeForce GXT 1070 Ti Gaming and Titanium models, as well as PALIT, shipped in a GeForce GXT 1070 Ti Super Jetstream.

GeForce GTX 1070 Ti will be available worldwide on November 2, with preorders starting today with a suggested retail price of $449/ £419 / EUR 469.

I must admit, I'm a little disapointed, I know its not your fault but I was hoping there would have been reviews today instead off nothing more than confirmation on what was already known.

For $449 and capped clock frequency, I prefer the GTX 1080. Would have been more attractive to see a GTX 1060 TI by far...

What nvidia needs to bury AMD is not a GTX 1070 TI, That they need is release the support for freesync, it seems that they didn't learn anything with physx ...
