The AD107, exhibited in early images by MEGAsizeGPU, demonstrates a smaller, compact fiberglass substrate and a notably smaller die compared to its predecessor, the AD106 found in the RTX 4060 Ti.

Unconfirmed reports suggest that NVIDIA's forthcoming AD107 client GPU, based on the "Ada Lovelace" graphics architecture, will power the GeForce RTX 4060 (non-Ti).  The AD107 GPU is projected to contain 3,072 CUDA cores divided across 24 streaming multiprocessors (SMs), coupled with a 128-bit wide memory interface that parallels the AD106. It is presumed that NVIDIA will opt for the standard 17 Gbps GDDR6 memory, producing a memory bandwidth of 272 GB/s. The RTX 4060 is expected to standardize an 8 GB memory size. In a noteworthy shift, NVIDIA's "Ada" framework has restructured the memory sub-system, prioritizing on-die caches. The AD107 is integrated with a 24 MB L2 cache.

Like the AD106, the AD107 employs a PCI-Express 4.0 x8 host interface. The fully leveraged RTX 4060 is notable for its power efficiency, with a predicted Total Graphics Power (TGP) rating of only 119 W. Detailed information about the RTX 4060 series, while unveiled by NVIDIA, remains largely undisclosed. Select board partners have yet to release their RTX 4060 non-Ti graphic cards, likely due to the projected July launch. A few AIBs have indicated the AD107 GPU's usage for the RTX 4060, but the precise variant is still up for debate. The AD107-400 model has been proposed, indicating a full GPU with 3,072 CUDA cores for the RTX 4060.

The AD107 GPU's size is reduced compared to earlier models, measuring only 146 mm² versus the standard 200 mm² for this category. This has been validated by GeForce RTX 40 Laptop cards featuring the AD107. Leaked images suggest the card will comprise at least two SK Hynix memory modules.

Although the RTX 4060 non-Ti is scheduled for a July release, an exact launch date remains unconfirmed. The existence of a genuine GPU image implies that AIBs have these processors on hand, hinting at a promising launch.
