Apacer introduces its first consumer DDR5 memory. Along with the JEDEC-compliant entry-level model, the product selection offers two series of "NOX DDR5" for gamers seeking overclocking capabilities.

The entry-level variant features a 4,800MHz operating frequency, a 16GB capacity per module, an operating voltage of 1.1V, and a latency of CL40, with a 50% boost in bandwidth over JEDEC-compliant DDR4 memory. Additionally, it is stated that having an on-die error correction feature improves the system's stability. Simultaneously, the "NOX DDR5" series of units for gamers will be offered, with clock speeds ranging from 5,200MHz to 7,200MHz. A heat spreader made of aluminum is included as standard equipment for cooling the PMIC and memory chips.
