No Man Sky Infinite Worlds Trailer

Hello Games has released a new trailer for No Man's Sky, showing its varied environments. The game will be released simultaneously on PC and PS4. Video after the break.

A new computer game, No Man’s Sky, demonstrates a new way to build games filled with diverse flora and fauna.

No Man’s Sky is a video game quite unlike any other. It’s a game that presents a traversable universe in which every rock, flower, tree, creature, and planet has been “procedurally generated” to create a vast and diverse play area.

“We are attempting to do things that haven’t been done before,” says Murray. “No game has made it possible to fly down to a planet, and for it to be planet-sized, and feature life, ecology, lakes, caves, waterfalls, and canyons, then seamlessly fly up through the stratosphere and take to space again. It’s a tremendous challenge.”

It is very big terraria. At 1st you'll not meet any people, only friendly/foe A.I.
But as you start to see more and more people going to centre of galaxy, it will start to be fun.
If you could make fully custom ship from your parts, it would be awesome. I may get this anyway for VR, I think it would be one of must have games. have not played great open space simulator for very long time.
Maybe I should jump back to STO for a while. I miss narrations from Leonard Nimoy :/

Amazing concept, but could get a bit tedious after a few thousand worlds or so.

It most certainly will, but exploring that much till it becomes boring will take a lot more spent hours than it would take to end most single player games.

It will probably keep me busy for a long time, long have i waited for a game that transitions like that from space to atmosphere and with so much open world to explore and randomness. Always enjoyed randomness in games.

I agree with the graphics bit, don't really like it. Makes it very cartoonish like... if you go into space, if anything, you'd want it to look realistic..

Imagine S.T.A.L.K.E.R, or Oblivion with this engine.
