New Witcher Games, Cyberpunk 2077 Sequel, and New IP Announced by CD Projekt.

CD Projekt RED posted a video about how it plans to release games in the future. In the video, the company bets on several projects related to the worlds of Cyberpunk and The Witcher, as well as new intellectual property and a more substantial commitment to multiplayer games.



The company says The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will get a next-generation version later this year. In the future, a new trilogy will be made with Unreal Engine 5. The Sirius project, which The Molasses Flood studio is making, will breathe new life into the franchise's world and explore different multiplayer elements.

Canis Majoris, made by a third party whose name is unknown, will be an open world RPG with a focus on the story. The Phantom Liberty expansion and the Orion project, a full sequel to the game that will come out in late 2020 but has not started making it yet, will be added to the Cyberpunk 2077 universe. The company also said that work on its Hadar project, which will be a new franchise, has already begun. The company says that its long-term goal is to build a strong base on which to launch three successful franchises on different platforms.



He also said that he plans to release the whole new Witcher trilogy in 6 years and that the Canis Majoris project will also use Unreal Engine 5. They also said that they will open a new development studio in Boston, USA, and that the Hadar project is still in a very early stage. Along with the news, CEO Marcin Iwinski said that he will leave the company at the end of 2022 and join the developer's board of advisors for good. He says he will continue to be one of the company's biggest investors. The company has about 1,200 employees and has always wanted to make good products, even when it was first started.
