New S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 details surfaced
Antishnaps has shared a video interview with developers of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2. During this interview, GSC GameWorld has revealed some new information about this game that a lot of PC gamers are looking forward to, even though there is no ETA as of yet. As GSC GameWorld confirmed, STALKER 2 will not feature any Battle Royale mode.
While a lot of developers have implemented this type of multiplayer mode in their games, GSC GameWorld is not interested in it. The main inspiration for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is the original trilogy (Shadow of Chernobyl, Clear Sky and Call of Pripyat) and its main feature will be its unique atmosphere. The developers aim to make a really atmospheric game, similar to what the original STALKER was when it came out. GSC GameWorld is also working on making modding tools so that modders can start creating new content when the game comes out. Last but not least, GSC GameWorld has no plans for adding VR support in STALKER 2.

You guys should also check out Dead Air. It's a standalone mod that combines all areas of every stalker game, while having a misery feel.

Ten things I'd like to have in STALKER 2:
10. A few less crows following my character around.
9. Firearms that aren't on their last legs after a few hundred rounds.
8. Binoculars that by default are at minimum magnification instead of maximum.
7. X-Ray Engine 2.0. Maybe even 2.1.0.3.
6. A Vulcan or DX12 renderer for the aforementioned X-Ray Engine.
5. *NO* female NPCs.
4. Stalkers sitting outside in the rain, even when there is shelter in the immediate area.
3. Stalkers playing guitar. Especially outside in the rain.
2. Stalkers that eat, drink and sing while wearing a gas mask.
1. Friendly and neutral stalkers that don't have a hernia because I'm holding a weapon.
...but, I'll buy it regardless.
