Dell released its 30" model Wide Quad XGA monitor that is to replace the U3014Providing 99% coverage of the Adobe RGB color space, this new 30-inch IPS LED-backlight monitor supports a native resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels.



The screen is at an alltime popular 2560 x 1600 resolution and is based on an IPS panel. Providing 99% coverage of the Adobe RGB color space, this new 30-inch IPS LED-backlight monitor supports a native resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and provides 1000:1 contrast ratio, 350 cd/m2 brightness, 8ms response time (normal mode) and 178/178 degree viewing angles and is using Dell's calibration software and a compatible calibration tool.

Once the stand is removed you will stumble into 100 x 100mm VESA holes for mounting. The ports of the monitor include 2 USB 3.0 ports at the rear and 2 at the left side (4 total – 2 of which also offer BC 1.2 rapid charging). Meeting the latest regulatory standards and environmental standards (ENERGY STAR certified, EPEAT GOLD acquisition & TCO certification), the UP3017 provides a number of connectivity ports: 1x DisplayPort 1.2, 1x mini DisplayPort 1.2, 1x MST DisplayPort 1.2, 2x HDMI 1.4, 2x USB 3.0 and 2x BC1.2 USB 3.0. A range of tilt, height, swivel and rotate adjustments are offered from the stand and a KVM and PiP/PbP function are also supported by the display. The price should sit at a whopping 1300 USD.
