Netgear RAX40 (Nighthawk AX4) Spotted - AX WIFI6 for roughly 200 USD

A new AX router has been spotted, this one would be an actually more affordable one. It's the Netgear Nighthawk AX4. The router with model number RAX40 is a not yet announced product with 802.11ax.

The specifications show a combined transfer speed of give or take 3000 Mbit/s. In the photos we see two external antennas, which are used for the 802.11ax connections. Through 1024-QAM and 160 MHz channels, 1200 Mbit/s per channel is achieved at 5 GHz. At 2.4 GHz, another 574 Mbit/s is achieved via dual channels. In total, the theoretical bandwidth is 2976 Mbit/s. The CPU is listed as a being "powerful dual-core processor".

The routers shows four-gigabit ethernet ports and a single wan port, as well as a USB 3.0 type-a connector. Several web shops show it at roughly 200 euros. Presumably, the suggested retail price will be 199 euros with availability soon.

My Netgeat Nighthawk AC3200 (R8000) Has two 5Ghz bands that are 1300Mbps and its AC not AX. This is really underwhelming. for $200 i expected better speeds for a newer standard.
