NETGEAR unveiled a new tri-band WiFi 802.11ac router, the Nighthawk X8 R8500. Powered by a 1.4GHz dual-core processor, the R8500 operates at a combined speed of up to 5.3Gbps, with two 5GHz bands that reach up to 2166Mbps each and one 2.4GHz band that reaches up to 1000Mbps.
