If there is one game series that passes positively through time, it is The Witcher. Netflix has been developing and producing a drama series based on The Witcher, the globally popular fantasy saga from Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski, that has entranced legions of fans worldwide after playing the game series.
Known collectively as the Witcher Saga, Sapkowski’s eight novels and story collections center on "witchers" -- hunters who develop supernatural abilities at a young age to battle deadly monsters. The New York Times bestselling books have spawned a major video game franchise and have been translated into over 20 languages.
Netflix is teasing with photos of Geralt / Rivia, including a single sword, his equipment and his famous gray locks. You can also see sorceress Yennefer, who is played by the actress Anya Chalotra. There is also a photo of Ciri, which is played by Freya Allan. It was already known that Superman actor Henry Cavill will play lead role and thus takes on the role of Geralt or Rivia. I know, I would've loved the game's interpretation as well but they stated that they are going for the books; for example, in Sword of Destiny, Geralt usually carries the steel sword on his back and the silver one in the horse's saddlebags.

Well, we'll se how it goes. It really depends how well the series is going to be written. Making a fancy costume is easy, nowadays (when the budget isn't an issue, ofc.).
