Muskin announces Pilot Series NVMe M.2 SSD series based on TLC and SM2262

Mushkin announces their new PILOT series NVMe M.2 SSDs which make use of Vertically stacked TLC NAND flashCapacity ranges from 120 GB to 1 TB as they offer a total of 4 models.



The form factor is M.2 2280, the capacity available in 120 GB, 250 GB, 500 GB and 1 TB. Mushkin will make use of the Silicon Motion "SM2262" for controller and pairs it with TLC written NAND flash memory. 

Transfer speed highly is dependant on capacity, but sequential reads are rated roughly at 2710 MB / sec, and writes at 1755 MB / sec, with 4K random reads at 335,000 IOPS, and writes 280,000 IOPS.  Power consumption is 0.3 W at idle, 5.3 W at high load, external dimensions W 22 × D 80 × H 3.8 mm. MTBF is 1.5 million hours, product warranty is 3 years. Prices are TBA.
