MSI Z77 Gaming series motherboards launch

MSI is happy to announce the availability of its complete Gaming motherboard lineup. At CeBIT 2013 the world got a first hands-on experience with the new models and the completely new look and feel of the motherboards and thanks to that we've received overwhelming positive reviews from gamers and media.

As part of the 2013 series of motherboards, the new Z77 Gaming models will be available far into 2014. Together with the recently introduced Gaming Graphics Cards from MSI, they allow awe-inspiring PC builds from PC Gamers and Enthusiasts. Developed by the best Pro Gamers “The MSI Z77 Gaming motherboards are designed to have as little lag as possible, to have the best possible input relay connections from your devices (mouse, keyboard and headset) and has the best audio set up integrated in the motherboard and has room for several graphics cards. These are but a few examples of how MSI has tried to perfect this Gaming motherboard for the enthusiasts who want the best hardware to get the best performance where it counts: in-game. I’ve been a professional gamer for 10 years, representing Team Fnatic since 2006. We partnered with MSI to develop the best gaming hardware for gamers, the most recent project being the MSI Z77 GAMING Series.

The MSI Z77 GAMING motherboard has all the tools that a gamer could possibly wish for. All I have to do now is JUST GAME!” – Patrik “cArn” Sättermon, Chief Gaming Officer, Team Fnatic. Top of the line, Z77A-GD65 GAMING The MSI Z77A-GD65 GAMING is our top of the line Gaming motherboard. Of course it’s loaded up with all the MSI Gaming features such as Killer NIC the network lag killer, Sound Blaster Cinema for realistic surround sound even with stereo headphones and Multi-GPU optimizations with Triple GPU support. It also comes with an array of overclocking tools like OC Genie 2, to extract even more Gaming performance out of their system. What Gamers want Because not every gamer is created equal, we don’t take a “one size fits all” approach to Gaming motherboards. For you this means you can enjoy your Gaming motherboard without paying for features you’ll never use and this allows us to provide true Gaming motherboards in segments the market has never seen before. In the end of the day, you’ll have the board you need to be at the top of your game.

Very far away from perfect, that board is (Z77A-G45 GAMING). I am not sure what is MSI going for here, "El Chipo" board for the budget gamers, or maybe they are just experimenting with new color of the heat sinks...
There are so many fails there - only 2 USB3 at the back, no 90 degrees orientated SATA ports (even low end boards have that), no 90 degrees orientated USB internal plug, 24pin connector is moved further in to the memory slots, whats with the 3 PCI slots??? Something is not right with the new MSI engineering.
I hope they will have more high end MB's from those series soon.
