MSI Z690 Alder Lake motherboards Details Leak online

Details concerning a number of MSI motherboards equipped with the Z690 chipset have surfaced on the internet. The MEG, MPG, MAG, and Pro lines are listed, among other things. In addition, the manufacturer has posted teasers for three of its Z690 motherboards on its website.

Momomo us, a Twitter user, provided the information, which was initially observed by VideoCardz. One of the new products from MSI is the Z690 ACE, which will be the company's highest-ranking Z690 motherboard when it launches later this year. Additionally, MEG Unify motherboards would be introduced by the business; MSI's Unify models are typically all-black in style and do not include RGB LEDs.

Carbon, Edge, and Force motherboards with Wi-Fi are available in the lower-ranked MPG series, according to the manufacturer. Additionally, a MAG Z690 Tomahawk Wifi, a MAG Z690 Torpedo, and a number of MSI Pro motherboards are named. However, some of those models wrongly refer to the socket LGA1200; Alder Lake CPUs, on the other hand, use the Intel LGA1700 socket. Motherboards described above will be capable of supporting DDR5 memory. Momomo us information, on the other hand, mentions the MPG Z690 Edge, the MAG Z690 Tomahawk, and three Pro Z690 motherboards that support DDR4 memory. Those are models that can be used independently. DDR4 and DDR5 memory chips are not backwards compatible with each other.

The MSI Ukraine Twitter account has posted some teaser photographs of three motherboards, which are from the MEG, MPG, and MAG series, respectively. One of the teaser images shows the MSI MEG Z690 ACE, which appears to have two Thunderbolt 4 type C connectors, among other things. The MPG model shown supports Wi-Fi 6E and the teased MAG motherboard also has Wi-Fi antennas, though it's not clear whether these support the Wi-Fi 6E standard.
