MSI Z170A XPOWER Gaming Titanium Edition Motherboard

MSI Z170A XPOWER Gaming Titanium Edition Motherboard

On the web there's a photo swinging around of a MSI Z170A XPOWER Gaming Titanium Edition Motherboard. The new motherboard will support the upcoming Skylake series desktop processors.

MSI is stepping away from the traditional design and will offer a very nice looking white, silver and black color scheme. The motherboard will likely be the flagship product in the XPower OC range. A rather unique silver PCB, heavy plated silver heatsinks and subtle PCB printing make the new XPOWER something special, don’t you think?

The motherboard will get a 8-Pin plus 4-Pin power configuration, the CPU seems to be  surrounded by a 16 Phase PWM with new Titanium chokes. We count four PCI-Express x16 slots, three x1 slots and two M2 slots. The board is equipped with 8x SATA3 and 2x SATA Express combined. The motherboard will come with an OC Dashboard to help CPU tuning several OC essential parameters. OC Dashboard, found on the new XPOWER, is extended by a cable to use separately from the motherboard when overclocking to avoid freezing of the overclocking buttons when using LN2. OC Dashboard features the tools needed to break records.

Military Class 5 is the new standard in high quality components. The all new Titanium Choke can withstand even higher temperatures and is more efficient. There are four DDR4 slots. Have a peek, what a gorgeous thing.

MSI has been posting these photos on their own facebook and here. Click on the thumbnails for a large photo.

The only thing that looks lame is that xpower gaming cover on the VRM heatsink.

Otherwise... looks yummy.
