MSI Z170 Gaming M Series Motherboards Photos
Three photos, well one photo with three Series 170 motherboards from MSI just appeared on the web. The motherboards fall in the Gaming M range of products and have DDR4 memory, the lineup is based on a Z170A Gaming M5, the Z170A Gaming M7, and the Z170A Gaming M9 ACK. Truth be told, they look gorgeous.
The guys ate TPU noticed this photo slash screenshot.
- The Z170A Gaming M5 offers up-to two high-end graphics cards to be seated and has a 10-phase CPU VRM, ten SATA ports (two SATA-Express 16 Gb/s), two M.2 slots (both 32 Gb/s), and AudioBoost III audio, with Killer E2205 GbE.
- The Z170A Gaming M7 comes with a 14-phase CPU VRM, a "Game Boost" rotary button that steps up CPU and memory clocks in 11 preset steps, and improved on-board audio.
- The Z170A Gaming M9 ACK comes with a back-plate ala SaberTooth and has liquid-cooling prepped for the VRM heatsink as well as a Killer ACK WLAN.
These motherboards all have USB 3.1 with both type-A and type-C ports. Have a peek, courtesy of the screenshot photos go to TPU. Check the thumbnail.

lot of entry level have the "OC Genie buttons" in bios, as the B85 and H version... it work the same, just painfull to enter in bios each time.
but it's less expensive.
btw i love the water cooling plug on high end motherboard these day
Is it just me or does the Z170 M5 not have OC Genie buttons?
