MSI X99 Motherboard Prototype Photos
MSI is showing a X99 Motherboard Prototype at Computex. This is a Haswell-E X99 Intel platform which will feature DDR4 memory. From the looks of it this motherboard seems to be a X99-GD65. The motherboard has a big LGA 2011-3 socket and will support Intel’s upcoming Haswell-E processors Core i7-5960X, Core i7-5930K and Core i7-5820K.
The motherboard features a 16 Phase VRM design and Military Class IV components. You will spot Eight DDR4 DIMM slots, four on each side of the socket which can support Quad Channel 64 GB DDR4 memory with speeds of 2666 MHz (O.C+). Expansion slots show four PCI-e 3.0 x16 and a two PCI-e 3.0 x1 slots. The chipset will deliver 40 PCI-e lanes trough the processor. We can see eight SATA 6 GB/s ports a USB 3.0 header. A very interesting board, have a peek, photo courtesy goes out to wccftech (see source link).

I thought DDR4 was 1 DIMM per channel.

wants "most fast memory" badly

I dont think this chipset will have a built-in intel graphics solution, then what UHD has to do with a motherboard ? Am I missing something ?

How come MSI is only claiming Dual Channel memory in their spec sheet?

These look like 2x PCI-e 3.0 x1 slots
