MSI Video Seems To Indicate Threadripper Chip Holding 64 cores and 128 threads

Is MSI becoming the king of leaks with their product videos? If this one is true (which we doubt) then it looks like it, as in a TRX40 promotion video if you look at the monitor, you'll see the task manager, and that task manager has been showing 128-threads.

So why is that so interesting, well AMD announced Threadripper processors with up to 32-cores and thus 64-threads. I've already told you guys, I expect a Threadripper 3990X as well at some point, with 64-cores based on Rome. AMD is keeping a bit of a mystery on this SKU and this paragraph is not an official one. The mac daddy of them could be holding 64-cores and 128-threads.  However, look at the screenshot below as spotted by Wcctech. Threadripper 3990X is rumored to get planned for January 2020.

The video since then has been removed and replaced without what you can see below. I cannot vouch for the validity of the screenshot as there is an oddity (well 5 of them), to the top right of the task manager windows the processor should have been listed. Also to the lower left, the processor specs definitely have been photoshopped. So please do take that screengrab with a huge grain of salt (and then some). Note that if this would not be fake, the screenshot was apparently taken based on an MSI Creator TRX40 motherboard, so that would also indicate that a chip with 64 cores also works on a TRX40 motherboard. Earlier news suggested TRX80 and WRX80 chipsets for that. For now, I'll easily call it a hoax though.
