MSI Takes GTX 1080 4-way SLI 3DMark crown

MSI is excited to announce X99 motherboards setting the world record on ‘Pascal’ based graphics card in 4-Way SLI setup. To celebrate this achievement, MSI just broke the 3DMARK Fire Strike Ultra record of 4x GeForce GTX 1080 RANK by scoring 19821 points.

Powered by an impressive 4-Way GeForce GTX 1080 GAMING X 8G setup and fueled by an Intel® Core i7-6950X processor, the X99A XPOWER GAMING TITANIUM was used to set this new record breaking score. The X99A XPOWER GAMING TITANIUM, MSI’s latest Intel X99 based motherboard, is designed to deliver ultimate performance and reliability, ready to deliver when extreme overclocking or next level gaming. Ready for 4-way SLI, besides this totally new design the X99A XPOWER GAMING TITANIUM motherboard also comes packed with several new and unique MSI features such as Mystic Light extension RGB cable and pin header which allows gamers to decorate their gaming rig with additional RGB LED lights while taking control over the colors and LED effects through an easy to use application in the OS or even with a smartphone.

The Patented Turbo Socket is available with 2036 CPU pins to unlock better CPU and memory overclocking. For a reliable and fast wireless LAN or internet connection, Intel WIFI is included onboard the X99A XPOWER GAMING TITANIUM.

Pascal is too slow in benchmarks :/ and sadly it does not overclocks as well as Maxwell architecture , compared to current Real World Record on Maxwell 4-way SLI 980Ti Klngpln Edition graphics card running at 2006/2103Mhz at 24,208 points on 3DMark Firestrike Ultra this MSI score at 19,821 points it's peanuts and Not a world record ...

Don't think you can compare LN2 cooled 980ti's with those 1080s.Just wait till Kingpin gets his hands on those 1080s and applies proper cooling on them :) plus drivers will evolve as well..too soon to compare mate

It's 4-Way SLI. The HB SLI connector takes up 2 slots. They can't use it.

Pascal needs a better bios so it can hit 2.8ghz. Pascal has so many limiters on the stock bios.
