MSI Shows MEG Z690 GODLIKE
An image of the motherboard has been incorporated in a promotional for the CES 2022 Innovation Honoree Award. The MEG Z690 GODLIKE received one award out of a total of sixteen.
The motherboard is a member of the MEG series, which represents MSI's top-tier product line. The MSI Z690 GODLIKE is an E-ATX form factor design, but unlike other E-ATX LGA1700 motherboards, the GODLIKE is almost perfectly square at 305x310mm, whilst other E-ATX LGA1700 motherboards are not. This will be the first time ever that a motherboard will be equipped with a 3.5-inch touch screen and it will also be the first time that such a large screen has been added to any motherboard. In case you forgot, 3.5 inches is the size of the first-generation Apple iPhone, which was introduced in 2007. The CPU metrics, such as CPU frequencies and voltages, as well as customizable visuals, will be displayed on the LCD. The MEG Z690 GODLIKE is equipped with a 22-phase VRM and can support DDR5 memory speeds of up to 6666 MHz. MSI has not yet announced a launch date or a price for the GODLIKE motherboard, but it is widely assumed that this motherboard will not be inexpensive.

I am pretty sure the z590 Godlike first started at the 1200 mark or a little under. I guess that's why the next extreme board for Asus is 1100 since saw MSI could do it then why not. I had one preordered and it never showed up by the time I got into one of the Newegg things and was able to buy a 5950x for retail price I i went AMD. Think it still goes for like $899 the last I looked.
