MSI launched its 400 Series motherboards for the new Comet Lake-S processors last week, though it left a bit of a surprize. One of them is the MAG Z490 Gaming Carbon EK X, a modified version of the original Carbon that includes a pre-installed EK monoblock.

The motherboard was shown by MSI on Twitter, revealing what the design of this special version looks like. It's practically the same MAG Z490 Gaming Carbon with just the VRM heatsink removed and added monoblock that not only cools the VRMs but also the CPU. There are no details on the price level just yet, although it will surely be around the 500 USD marker. The new motherboards will begin to be on pre-order in the next week or so, it won't be long before they know their final prices.
