MSI is proud to demonstrate a strong cooperation with MSI X570 motherboard and Phison PCIe Gen4x4 NVMe PS5016-E16 SSD solution a first PCIe 4.0 desktop system. Doubling the speed compared to the previous PCIe 3.0 standard, PCIe 4.0 offers faster data transfer for M.2 devices.

With MSI Lightning Gen 4 M.2 slots on the MSI MEG X570 ACE motherboard, the Phison Gen4x4 NVMe PS5016-E16 SSD recorded an incredible 5000 MB/s sequential read speed which are far superior to previous standards by more than 150%. We will keep a continuing and close relationship with Phison in helping develop high performance devices for the DIY market.

“We are happy to be a strong contributor with AMD and Phison, for an exceptionally strong PCIe 4.0 ecosystem. In joint force with leadership 3rd Gen AMD Ryzen™ desktop processors and AMD X570 chipsets and Gen4 enabled motherboard partners, Phison will be releasing its own PCIe Gen4x4 NVMe PS5016-E16 SSD solution to the market, completing the world's first consumer affordable PCIe 4.0 PC application platform”, said K.S. Pua, chairman and CEO of PHISON, “Through these strategic alliances, ecosystem partners can finally embrace the growth of emerging application markets that can benefit from high-performance computing, such as 5G services and 8K HD content, unlocking the gate to the next technology era.”
