MSI Releases Optix AG32C 32-inch Curved Gaming Monitor

And yeah, it's only 1920x1080 though, a far too small resolution for such a display size versus pixel density. The 31.5-inch monitor is a curved model with a 1800R bend. The panel can take a 165 Hz rate and offers a 1 ms response time.

As adaptive sync is a VESA standard, it is AMD FreeSync compatible. The screen offers178°/178° viewing angles and has a nice 3000:1 static contrast-ratio, however rather poor 250 cd/m² brightness. Inputs are HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.2, and dual-link DVI.

  • 31.5" LCD panel LED Backlight (1920 x 1080 Full HD)
  • 165Hz Refresh Rate - Display without after image.
  • 1800R curve panel design – Most suitable for human eye.
  • 1ms response time helps eliminate screen tearing and choppy frame rates.
  • True Color- NTSC 85%, sRGB 110%.
  • Wide View Angle - 178 。Visible.
  • Optimized with MSI Gaming Desktop – Make sure you have best experience.
  • AMD FreeSync - keep screen tearing away from your monitor.

Pricing is yet TBA.

Its 31.5 inches. It always amazes me the dot pitch/resolution snobs rear their ugly heads like they are too cool to use 1080 monitors. If you look deep they are probably elitists too. 57% of Steam users still game at 1080p so there is a market for this monitor. This product is for people who can't afford or simply dont want a $800 video card to run a 4k monitor, or actaully use a monitor for work imagine that? Price is $342.00 in u.s. http://www.shopblt.com/cgi-bin/shop/shop.cgi?action=thispage&thispage=01100100U0120_B2FN735P.shtml&order_id=!ORDERID!

ofc why not in your case. but I was joking for the mass.

Different scenario but someone was complaining to not seeing anything with his 15" laptop 4k. Again I want to laugh at him :)

1800R curvature, I believe that means a radius of 1.8m is reference. I think at 1.8m away from the monitor 1080p is probably not that bad. Surely it is catered to some specific market.
