MSI releases its GTX 1060 ARMOR 6G OC

With a slightly overclocked core, dual TORX fans, and based on NVIDIA's Pascal architecture, the MSI GeForce GTX 1060 ARMOR 6G OC is now released as well. The enw OC edition has a boost clock at 1759 MHz.

The card has three DisplayPort 1.4 outputs in addition to an HDMI 2.0b output and a DVI-D Dual-Link output. The GTX 1060 is not just about high-resolution gaming. Computationally intensive programs can utilize the GPU's 1280 cores to accelerate tasks using CUDA or other APIs.

  • NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060:
  • CUDA Cores: 1280
  • Base Clock: 1544 MHz
  • Boost Clock: 1759 MHz

The card has 4 GPU power phases and comes with an 8-pin power connector. For cooling, MSI implemented dual TORX fans, which maximizes downwards airflow and air dispersion to the heat sink below them. This GPU also utilizes MSI ZeroFrozr technology to eliminate fan noise by stopping the fans in low-load situations.

This 6GB model sells in the 269 USD range.

Hmm, something is fishy in this article. The title mentions the 6G OC variant and the information in the article is for the 6G OC version, but the pictures are for the 3G OCV1 variant. And also on the msi site there is no 6G OCV1 version, but a recently released 3G OCV1.
This is how the 6G OC looks like:
