MSI releases 2 types modular power supply MPG A850GF Gold Certfied

MSI announced it will start handling two types of power supplies, including the 80 PLUS GOLD certified full modular power supply unit tagged MPG A850GF, for the global market.

There are two models with capacities of 850W and 750W. The former will go on sale from March 5th, and the latter from mid-March. The 850W model has started accepting reservations from today. The cooling fan is a 140mm FDB fan with a maximum noise of 22dBA. In addition, a flat cable is used for the modular cable, which makes it easy to manage the cable inside the PC.

+12V has 4 rails that can distribute the load, and the protection circuits are OVP (overvoltage protection), OCP (overcurrent protection), OPP (overload protection), OTP (overheat protection), SCP (short protection), 6 systems of UVP (low voltage protection). It is also equipped with Active PFC to further improve the power factor. The connectors are ATX 24pinx1, EPS 4 + 4pinx2, PCI-Express 6 + 2pinx6, SATAx8, 4pin peripheral / FDDx5. The main body size is 150 mm wide, 160 mm deep and 86 mm high. The product warranty is 10 years.

I'm guessing the logo & writing on the side is ARGB? I have the ASUS Thor Platinum 850w which has the OLED power meter & ARGB and I wouldn't buy a PSU without a power meter in the future, it's great fun to see how much power which game is using.
