MSI releases Preliminary Beta BIOS for AMD 500 Series motherboard to support Smart Access Memory
SMART ACCESS MEMORY is an innovative feature. It allows the system to access the full capacity of the VRAM on the graphics card. Compare to the current solution which has 256MB access limitation, this feature will provide the users better gaming experience.
For MSI motherboard users, enabling SMART ACCESS MEMORY is quite simple. It only takes a few clicks after updating the BIOS. Go to “Settings > Advanced > PCI Subsystem Settings”, enable “Re-size BAR” and “Above 4G memory/Crypto Currency mining”, press “F10”, to save the settings and reboot. The requirement of this feature is pairing the AMD Radeon RX 6000 series graphics card with AMD Ryzen 5000 series desktop processor. And don’t forget to update the graphics card driver to the latest version as well. After these steps, this feature is online and ready to boost the gaming performance.
All the AMD 500 series motherboard from MSI is now ready for this new feature. Users can go to the corresponding support page of the product to download the latest BIOS for this breakthrough technology and enjoy that sweet performance boost.
Note: Please download the BIOS with the description as shown.

@phawkins633
lol.
where did they claim1:1 ratio with 1900 is guaranteed?
where did amd recommend 1:1 with 1900?
unless you design chips, i say amd knows a bit more about what its potential is than you,
nor do i remember them making claims with any hw specs (regarding IF) that we dont have.
how many of your posts in this forum are about intels (multiple) issues on their cpus for the past 2-3y??

Part of what AMD stated for what future updates and newer AGESA code could contribute to but it's not a guarantee just a increase that it might work assuming you have the hardware that can take these settings without any stability issues.

"We are working on additional optimizations for 1900-2000MHz fabric clocks in our next AGESA release. AMD cannot guarantee any samples, including your own, will be able to hit these speeds. Although some current Ryzen 5000 samples are able to achieve a 1900+ fabric speed we feel confident even more users will be able to obtain these speeds with the forthcoming optimizations. If you recall on the 3000 series many, but not all, users were able to achieve a fabric speed of 1900. We believe this will be a similar situation with 5000 series processors and 2000MHz."

Other stuff includes things like under volting support returning and more.
What’s new in AGESA 1.1.0.0 for Ryzen 5000 Series:
General performance improvements for many types of workloads
Improved support for loading and applying overclocked memory profiles
Improved BIOS overclocking robustness
Improved USB hotplug detection
Improved SATA device detection on select SATA ports
Adds support for Eco Mode for automatic TDP reduction (AMD Ryzen Master)
Overall, this AGESA is designed to bring the Ryzen 5000 Series to the full performance and experience intended by AMD. Performance optimization is really the hero of this release, so make sure you grab the update for your motherboard when you’re up and running on “Zen 3.”
But that’s not all! We have an exciting roadmap beyond AGESA 1.1.0.0 and wanted to give you a small preview of what’s coming in future BIOS updates.
Beyond AGESA 1.1.0.0 for Ryzen 5000 Series:
Returning support for negative core voltage offsets (“undervolting”) with all-new AMD functionality for better frequency, voltage, and performance tweaking
Additional AMD optimization for performance and stability at ~2000MHz fabric clock. While not all processors are innately capable of reaching this frequency, our tuning is intended to help stabilize the overclock on capable samples2 —good luck!
Additional functionality tuning for benchmarking under extreme OC conditions (e.g. LN2)

Far as A, B and the latest C patches the only thing I have heard is improved memory compatibility and fixing potential instability and errors but I don't know what else these might have over the initial 1.1.0.0 data.

I can testify that bios 4.6 on my Asrock board is fantastic! Everything is running so much smoother.

Does that mean you will be able to actually set the FCLK in bios to 1900? Because right now, only a handful of motherboards can do that (1900 mhz) because of the CPU instability. So, yeah, that is why 3600 ram is the "sweet spot", because a 1900 mhz Infinity Fabric setting is unachievable...so much for a 1:1 setting as AMD recommends...maybe in the future they can get it together? Or stop hyping "infinity fabric" because it doesn't work to it's actual potential?
