quite sexy, load a game up with so much tressfx 2.0 fur and grass that mantle is needed with a gpu like this and we may have a deal, tomb raider2 uber fur, grass and *ahem nice girly hair and yes.
remember, to max tomb raider2 a 290x and mantle is necessary (or £800 nvidia option).

then , what about your '790 vs titan black' thread?

OnTopic, OC potential is not that great.

TressFx much like PhysX so far seems like a nice addition if you have the GPU power for it (I enable it anyway though, heh. :P ) but otherwise just disable it and the game(s) will run fine without much of a visual difference, like you said 2.0 of TressFx will probably be quite demanding when we start seeing it in games if it's used for fur, grass hair and other effects, Tomb Raider was already pretty demanding and that was with just one object using the effect although of course it's probably been optimized better by now.

Wouldn't mind getting a R9 290(x) though especially these non-reference versions (Minus that black-screen issue.) but I'll hold off until Nvidia shows what they have planned with Maxwell later this year or when it was.
(And then what AMD plans to do, R9 295 perhaps? That Vesuvius X2 version could be neat too although overkill for most gamers perhaps and likely priced pretty high.)
