MSI Radeon R9 280X Gaming model with 6 GB

MSI Radeon R9 280X Gaming model with 6 GB

3GB obviously is already VERY sufficient, but for the ones that need a little more, MSI is now releasing a MSI Radeon R9 280X Gaming edition with a whopping 6 GB of graphics memory. The GDDR5 memory is tied to a 384-bit wide memory bus and will have clock speeds of 1000 MHz on the core core with a 1050 MHz boost and 6.00 GHz memory.

The card will feature the latest Twin Frozr IV Advanced cooler, which allows for low operating temperatures as well as low noise levels. In this case there are two fans with a diameter of 10 centimeter.

Thougyh we doubt that the difference in-between 6 and 3GB will be significant whatsoever, we have a sample inbound for review and will keep you posted on that.
