MSI Radeon HD 5870 Lightning PCB photo's

by Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 01/22/2010 01:07 PM | source: | 0 comment(s)

The weirdest emails sometimes arrive at Guru3D. We received a series of photo's anonymous thorugh email, these photo's are showing the R5870 Lightning from MSI all stripped down nekked. In the past we already tested MSI's GeForce GTX 265 and 275 and where impressed. MSI is making a move towards the Radeon series now as well.

Two 8-pin PCI-Express power connectors for maximum power delivery. Voltage measuring points for the GPU voltages - little LEDs for showing active rails, quality caps and chokes .. very nice. Check it out.

No specs available, just some photo's ... (click thumbnails)
