MSI Posts GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Lightning Z Teaser Video
MSI posted a teaser video (rendered) on YouTube of the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Lightning Z. The card should be released late this month.
The card (photos here) will get high clocks, a Mystic LED treatement and quad-volatage options. The baseclock of the card will run 1582 MHz with a 1695 boost frequency.
You will notice that it has no less than three 8-pin power connectors, likely you can use the card with using just the first two. New is a triple slot cooler (Tri-Frozr cooler) with white lightning elements. Yes, MSI indeed has stepped away from the black design. The memory by the way will clock in at an effective data-rate of 11120 MHz. With MSI Gaming sftware you may select a "Lightning" mode that runs a proper 1607 MHz core, 1721 MHz GPU Boost, and 11.112 GHz memory.

Saw Z designation on an nvidia card and thought "Oh! A dual gpu card with 1080ti's?"
Nope it's just a 1080ti with fancy rgbs slapped on it.

Damn, i just wished MSI didnt delay so much their lightning versions, i thought there werent going to be this time since they beefup the cooler of the standard card, so i went with Asus Strix, i somewhat feel that im going to regret not waiting for the lightning.
