MSI P67 Big Bang Marshall spotted

by Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 12/10/2010 01:00 PM | source: | 0 comment(s)

A Turkish tech site published a photo of MSI's upcoming P67-based Big Bang Marshall motherboard.

The Big Bang Marshall is a XL-ATX motherboard that makes use of a strong 18-phase CPU VRM that makes use of DrMOS, solid-state chokes, and POSCAP capacitors. The four DDR3 DIMM slots support dual-channel DDR3-2000 MHz memory. The Big Bang Marshall features four SATA 6 Gb/s and four SATA 3 Gb/s ports, two USB 3.0 ports, dual gigabit Ethernet, 8-channel HD audio

Seems MSI is giving LucidLogix another chance as this is another motherboard with the Lucid Hydra multi-GPU technology. Most eye-catching are of cours the eight (!) PICe x16 slots.
