MSI Outs RX 6700 XT MECH 2X 12G OC

MSI Computer will start handling the graphics card "RADEON RX 6700 XT MECH 2X 12G OC" equipped with AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT.

Radeon RX 6700 XT graphics card with dual fan cooler with large caliber Torx fan 3.0. With a calm design that omits the LED function and colorful shroud, it seems to be good for combination with the "UNIFY" series. In addition, a semi-fanless function "ZERO FROZR", a fuse mechanism that protects parts on the board, and a custom PCB equipped with a "2 ounce copper layer" that has high conductivity and excellent heat dissipation will be adopted.

The main specifications are 2,560 stream processors, boost clock maximum 2,620MHz, memory speed 16Gbps, memory bus width 192bit, equipped with GDDR6 12GB video memory. The power consumption is 230W, and the auxiliary power connector is equipped with 8pinx2. The bus interface is PCI-Express4.0 (x16), the output interface is DisplayPort 1.4 x 3, HDMI 2.1 x 1, and the external dimensions are length 247 mm, width 131 mm, thickness 51 mm, and weight 921 g.

Sadly, one can forget about MSRP for the launch of any card, be it from AMD or nVidia.

Yeah, something tells me that 999.90 euros isn't what 6700 XT should cost. It'll be interesting to see if the store manages to sell all of them, nonetheless. I've seen some news stating crypto prices have fallen and don't show signs of recovering, so miners might be a bit more careful than they used to be. But I've never mined, so I'm the last person to try to judge the situation.

Prices are just insane, I'd gotten my Nitro+ RX 6900 XT on 2nd January, and it cost me about 1100 Euros. I shudder to think how much my card cost now....

Edit - Just Googled it, I see the Nitro+ RX 6900 XT available in Germany for 1899 Euros, prices in UK is, I believe, even more nuts than this.
