MSI Outs OPTIX AG32CQ 32in Gaming monitor

I had not seen this model before, MSI has added a product page of the MSI  OPTIX AG32CQ 32in monitor.  The model comes with a VA panel that has a 1ms response time and a resolution of WQHD (2,560 × 1,440 pixels). The monitor carries a FreeSync badge.

The Optix AG32CQ is optimized to reduce the strain on your eyes by reducing the total amount of blue light displayed by the monitor to ensure you can game for longer periods of time without fatigue. It uses a curved display panel that has a curvature rate of 1800R, which is the comfortable and suitable for a wide range of applications from general computing to gaming. Curved panels also help with gameplay immersion, making you feel more connected to the entire experience.

It for sure isn't a HDR screen as it is rated at 250 cd/m2, it has a 3000:1 contrast ratio. Connectivity wise you'll get 1x DP(1.2), 1x HDMI(2.0) and 1x DVI. Power consumption is 60 W, is is VESA mounting compatible with 75×75 mm. External dimensions are W723 × D209 × H512 mm, and sure, it weighs in at  6.63 kg.

The monitor is starting to list at € 599.00,-

That's quite pricey for a FreeSync.

It's MSI, their prices have been on the lunatic scale since 2015, they're even trying to outdo ASUS for extortionate prices these-days, and thats saying something.

Shame really, they used to offer good stuff at very competitive prices back in the day.

For a 32" 1440p 144hz monitor? That's about the general price.

Screw MSI. Get basically the same panel, same specs and a bit cheaper (Viewsonic).
