MSI Releases Optix MAG272C 27-inch curved gaming monitor at 165 Hz
MSI announced their Optix MAG272C gaming monitor that supports a maximum refresh rate of 165 Hz and 1 ms response time.
The curved panel has a curvature of 1,500R and combines a gaming specification with a maximum refresh rate of 165 Hz and a response speed of 1 ms, and a natural and realistic image display with HDR Ready support (the lowest form of HDR). The screen synchronization technology also supports AMD FreeSync Premium.
The anti-glare type VA panel is adopted, and the display resolution supports full HD of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. The main specifications are a contrast ratio of 3,000:1, a maximum brightness of 300 cd/m2, and a viewing angle of 178° horizontal/vertical.
In addition to supporting approximately 1,073 million color display, sRGB coverage is 100% and DCI-P3 coverage is 89.5%. It is equipped with an anti-flicker function that suppresses flickering on the screen, a blue light reduction function that reduces eye strain, and a night vision function that adjusts the dark part so that it is easy to see.
The input interface is HDMI2.0 x 2, DisplayPort 1.2a x 1, USB Type-C (DP Alt mode) x 1. It also has two USB hub ports. External dimensions are width 611.5 mm, depth 225 mm, height 455 mm, and weight 5.4 kg.

The best thing for graphic and modeling design (and even reading) has been flat panel screens.

Purely for gaming i dont see why not especially for ultra wides 34"+.

enough with curved tv manufacture all but gave up with making curve tv but monitor manufacture are still trying to push.
