MSI OPTIX MPG27CQ 27-Inch WQHD Curved Gaming Monitor

MSI has added a new 27-inch WQHD curved gaming monitor called the OPTIX MPG27CQ. The panel is Adaptive Sync compatible and has been fitted with a 27-inch VA LED-backlight monitor (1800R Curvature) that supports a native resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels at a max 144Hz refresh rate.

The panel is rated with a 3000:1 contrast ratio and a maximum 400 cd/m2 brightness, 1ms response time and 178/178 degree viewing angles. Utilizing the Flicker-Free technology and Blue Light Reduction function to prevent eye strain and fatigue, the OPTIX MPG27CQ provides 2x HDMI 2.0, 1x DisplayPort 1.2, 2x USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A (left side) and 1x USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-B (rear side for PC to Monitor). Unfortunately, there’s no word on pricing yet.

This most likely means nothing , hdmi signal etc is standardised so every card from every board partner outputs the same signal.
