MSI MEG Z490 GODLIKE flagship motherboard (to cost 960 EUR?)

There's one more Z490 leak to mention, the LGA1200 based MSI MEG Z490 GODLIKE found its way to the web as well. The flagship Comet Lake motherboard looks pretty alright.

You can spot 3x PCIe x16 slots, a triple M.2 slot with an additional M.2 “Xpander-Z Gen 4” card (appears to be the same as on MEG X570 GODLIKE). Interesting is the mention “Gen 4” basically means it’s PCIe 4.0 compatible. In other words, the motherboard could theoretically support PCIe 4.0. The processor (Comet Lake), however, is PCIe Gen 3.0. Perhaps that Rocket Lake processors to be released later will bring that PCIe gen 4.0 compatibility. GODLIKE has a nice OLED display once again. The board also would get dual Thunderbolt 3 slots and 10Gbe Aquantia and 2.5Gbe Ethernet ports. This motherboard is tagged as digital PWN with 16+1+1 (90A) phase design.

Now, wait for it ... momomo_us leaked the European pricing for the MSI Z490 series, the MEG GODLIKE will cost around 960 EUR. yeah, the prices (if correct), do not sit well.

These prices are crazy, but there should be cheaper alternatives with a slightly lesser chipset.
Over 200 € for a motherboard is crazy to me, since you can maximally overclock any current Ryzen CPU with even something like MSI B450 Carbon. Crazy times.
