This week, MSI unveiled the industry's first curved display MEG Artymis 341, which incorporates mini LED backlighting with quantum dots, it adheres to DisplayHDR 1000 specifications set forth by the Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA).

In order to achieve its 34-inch screen size, AU Optronics' AmLED (Adaptive mini LED) display technology is used, which includes the company's display panel as well as a Mini LED-based backlighting module that is further upgraded with MSI's QD Premium quantum dot films.

MSI's MEG Artymis 341 small LED monitor has the following specifications: 3440x1440 resolution, 1 millisecond GtG response time, up to 165 milliseconds refresh rate (native), and an 800R curvature. Because the monitor complies with VESA's DisplayHDR 1000 specifications, it is capable of supporting at least HDR10 transport for high dynamic range material, as well as a peak luminance of at least 1000 nits in HDR mode.

Full-array local dimming (FALD) backlighting based on Mini LEDs provides excellent contrast as well as extremely high brightness, while quantum dot enhancement is intended to provide extremely high color accuracy, resulting in a display that provides both excellent contrast and precise color reproduction.

MSI's MEG Artymis 341 Mini LED display, which is expected to offer great image quality and a refresh rate of up to 165 Hz, will undoubtedly be one of the company's flagship displays. As a result, other features generally seen in goods of this nature, such as a USB hub, audio ports, an advanced on-screen display, and a built-in KVM, could be expected.

55-inch OLED Gaming Display also

In addition to its tiny LED curved display, MSI is working on a 55-inch gaming OLED monitor for gamers who need great image quality, performance, and a huge diagonal – a monitor with a large diagonal and high image quality. The unit will be available in 2022, but no pricing information has been released at this time.
