MSI launches X299 Pro and Creator X299 motherboards: no RGB and 10 Gbit ethernet

MSI launches new X299 boards all dark, no RGB and with 10 Gige Ethernet for new high-end processors, there are three new boards, the Creator X299 X299 PRO 10G and X299 PRO.

All new MSI X299 motherboards support the latest USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Super Speed USB 20G solution powered by ASMedia to meet creators’ requirement. Transfer speed enhances to incredibly 4 times faster than USB 3.2 Gen1 solution so that designers can save time on backup and other essential data transfer processes. Dual LAN solution is essential for content creation on both Ethernet and Intranet. Concerning all types of time-wasting operation such as redundancy, teaming, or load balancing, up to 10Gbps high-bandwidth and low-latency connectivity ensure incredible data transfer speed which is faster than ever before. MSI LAN Manager can automatically classifies and prioritizes your applications in an intelligent way, giving you the best online experience with the lowest latency.

The conceptual design of MSI Creator X299 is inspired by the craft of crystal. Embedded in the heatsinks with billions of color effects, the crystal design dress up with RGB to present the reflection under sunshine or light. With sharp edges and cuts for heatsinks and color gradation of crystal design, the perfect combination enhances the elegance, making the motherboard as a work of art. Creator X299 is perfectly built with a premium thermal design for high workloads which might cause heat dissipation problems and thermal issues. While creators processing high loading operation such as video editing, animation, or programming, the all-aluminum design with enlarged heatsink size and heat-pipe help dissipate excessive heat and enhance the performance. Besides thermal design, Creator X299 also ensures stable and high efficient power delivery with dedicate 12 phases 90A digital power and triple 8 pin power connectors. Creator X299 shows maximum compatibility for storage. This motherboard is equipped with 3x M.2 slots, plus 4x additional M.2 slots with M.2 XPANDER-AERO, an exclusive add-on accessory card, incredible 19x USB ports, and U.2 ports for all various creator devices to connect, which means creators do not have to sacrifice for anything while doing works.

The latest Lightning USB 20G is powered by our close partner ASMedia with the new ASM 3242 ultra-high speed USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 controller. Lightning USB 20G enhances USB speed to 20Gb/s, which is two times higher than USB 3.2 Gen 2. Designed to satisfy any professional workflow, X299 PRO 10G motherboard features everything in demand, including thermal, network, data transfer and storage. MSI extended PWM heatsink and heat-pipe design ensure high-end processor to run at full speed with lower temperature. Two M.2 Shield Frozr heatsinks offer the best thermal protection and avoid throttling to maintain maximum performance. X299 PRO 10G has a bunch of accessories. M.2 XPANDER-Z add-on card expands 2x M.2 slots with heatsink and fan for more storage.

10G Super LAN card supports high bandwidth, high density and low latency for large file transfer in a flash. The onboard dual LAN includes 2.5G and Gigabit LAN, making faster and stable networking connection. With ASMedia ASM 3242 controller, Lightning USB 20G is also available on X299 PRO 10G for faster USB speeds.

can they have less usbs ? is that a joke ?
X570 offers up to 12 usb 3.1 or thunderbolts or whatever but 2x or 3x those X299 IOs wth the rear shields look like the cheapest motherboards you can buy in China
they have no idea what "creators" need obviously, unlike Ryzen based motherboards which gets it right

just for reference
the already existing x299 https://www.guru3d.com/articles-pages/msi-meg-x299-creation-motherboard-review,3.html

x570 one

You dont need USB on Intel, you get 48 CPU attached PCIe lanes, if you need USB, just get USB add on card, if you need USB for data-less devices , you can get PCIe x1 x7 port cards for under 50USD, if you need USB ports for HDD then Intels PCIe is blessing you can install 10GBPS USB cards whatever you want.
The only thing positive about x570 is the abundance of USB and not on every board, when i wanted to buy x3950 i checked every board and most have 5GBPS USB ports

ackchyually, MSI Creator X299 board has tons of USB and comes with dual Thunderborld card and 20Gbps USB 2x2 , you missed them
