MSI Launches new X370 Gaming M7 ACK Mobo For AMD Ryzen

MSI has released a new motherboard for the AMD Ryzen platform, a nice one alright. it is the Gaming M7 ACK, with the ACK short for AC wifi and KillerNIC.

The LED lit X370 Gaming M7 ACK offers quite a bit of stuff including bundled 802.11ac Wi-Fi, three PCIe x16 slots and two PCIe x1 slots.  It shows  shows six SATA3 6G ports as well as a U2 one and two M.2 slots supporting NVMe PCIe x4 SSDs, the MS2 slots are chielded for heat by the heatsink. We spot USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports, one Type-A the other Type-C and a multitide of USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports.

  • Socket: Socket AM 4
  • Chipset: AMD X 370
  • Form factor: ATX
  • Memory slot: DDR 4 - 3200 x 4 (64 GB maximum / dual channel supported)
  • Expansion slots: PCI - Express 3.0 (x16) x 2, PCI - Express 2.0 (x16 shape) x 1, PCI - Express 2.0 (x 1) x 3
  • Storage: SATA 3.0 (6 Gbps) × 6, M 2 × 2
  • LAN: Gigabit LAN × 1 (Killer E 2500), IEEE 802.11ac wireless LAN + Bluetooth 4.1 (Killer Wireless-AC 1535)
  • Sound: 7.1 ch HD audio (Realtek ALC 1220)
  • Interface: Gigabit LAN × 1, USB 3.1 Gen.2 × 2 (Type-A / Type-C), USB 3.1 Gen.1 × 6, USB 2.0 × 3, Audio Terminal × 5, Optical Audio Terminal × 1 , PS / 2 × 1
  • External dimensions: W 304 × H 243 mm

The board has a 13-phase power circuit and comes with Audio Boost 4 and a high quality audio codec supporting a SNR ratio of 120 dB / 32 bit.  The network is equipped with Killer E 2500 gigabit LAN and IEEE 802.11ac wireless LAN + Bluetooth 4.1 by Killer Wireless-AC 1535. Pricing should sit at the 229 Euros / USD. Check out some photos below.

@Aura89
guess they fixed "issues" that i remember them having (driver related?).

still, i'd rather have 1 or 2 "gaming" usb ports supporting higher polling than killer nic

MSI is really doing a good job with their hardware and VERY competitive pricing i couldn't be more happier with my Gaming GP62MVR Leopard Pro i7-6700HQ Nvidia GTX 1060 Laptop and x370 Krait Gaming motherboard i bought, so far not a hick up. I also built a Ryzen 1600 using their PC-MATE B350 board for a buddy which is also happy with the build. I must say this X370 Gaming M7 ACK board looks like a very nice addition to their current line up.

send to msi designer =

why msi put only 1 RGB LED header socket on ryzen motherboard(fill by ryzen LED cooler)

how we must connect , sync other LED like Geil evo x ram ???

RGB LED socket must be 3 not 1
