MSI has recently unveiled the G253PF, a new 24.5-inch gaming monitor that boasts a lightning-fast 380 Hz refresh rate and an impressive 1 ms (GTG) response time. Designed specifically for e-sports enthusiasts, this monitor is equipped with a Rapid IPS panel that also features DisplayHDR 400, VESA Adaptive Sync, and G-SYNC (compatibility).

Although the Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution may disappoint some users, the TUV Rhineland-certified anti-flicker and low blue-light technologies and 178° viewing angles provide a comfortable gaming experience. Other notable panel specs include a 1000:1 contrast ratio with dynamic mega-contrast, 10-bpc color (1.07 billion colors), and a maximum brightness of 320-400 nits.

The monitor comes with an HDMI 2.0b connection, which limits the refresh rate to 240 Hz. However, to achieve the maximum refresh rate of 380 Hz, the DisplayPort 1.4 connection must be used and the panel overclocked from within the OSD settings. Despite its flat-screen design, the monitor features a passive cooling mechanism that contributes to its thickness.

MSI has not yet disclosed the price of this gaming monitor.
