MSI Issues AGESA BIOS Updates Enabling Ryzen 3000 XT Processor Support
Since AMD releases their new Ryzen 9 3900XT, Ryzen 7 3800XT and Ryzen 5 3600XT Processors today, MSI also made great efforts to offer optimized BIOS updates for 300-, 400-, and 500-series motherboards.
The latest AMD Combo PI V1 version 1.0.0.6 BIOS for 300- and 400-series motherboards will be ready for users to download and update in the end of June. Regarding 500-series motherboards, Combo PI V2 version 1.0.0.2 BIOS will be released in the beginning of July. The updated BIOS updates are mainly optimized for the new Ryzen CPUs. Besides, there are several key points for the BIOS improvements.
- Support discrete graphics card identification, allowing users to successfully enter OS with AM4 CPU (w/o integrated graphics) and without graphics card installed.
- Solve compatibility issues for graphics card and USB sound card.
- Optimize A-XMP memory functions
- Optimize BIOS function - Memory Try It!
- Optimize FCH BCLK-related functions
For more detailed information about the Combo PI V2 1.0.0.2, Combo PI V1 1.0.0.6 or newer BIOS update, please check this blog.

Will I benefit from these AGESA updates if I have a Ryzen 2600?

Probably not as it's designed for 3000XT support so unless your upgrading to one of those CPU's then it probably wont do squat for you 2000 based Ryzen
I wish Asus would ge their collective sh!t together and get something out the door 6 months an nothing no 1005 or 1006

For CPU it will probably not help but Bios updates are not olny CPU benefits it is also many direct bios fixes like stability/compatibility issues, memory support, boot times etc so if you want You can still update bios

I have D/L and will have a little play in abit.
